Went a little more conservative with this one... and added the dual heat extractor hood, traditional 5-Spoke cobras, sleek Cobra style side-skirts, and a more conservative chin spoiler.

Not bad, but any SVT/Cobra/Terminator or Shelby GT___, is going to have a re-done air dam, and likely a different shaped hood...
05-09 even had slightly different shaped headlights, too, due to the grille shape change, IIRC.
Whatever their hotted-up version ends up being... chances are it will be a bit more distinct from the GT.
But what you've done does look good, don't get me wrong... I just think Ford will do something a little more distinct.

you're one of them photoshop wizards? How about trying to give it a big power bulge hood?

Ohh I'm sure that the front bumper will be completely different, as well as the hood, spoiler, skirts etc.! Just doing some speculation for fun.

Tha's cool.
I'd love to see some traditional make-overs... mach 1, Boss 302, shelby parallel stripes, stuff like that... a blackout roof (preferably a glass roof option, like S197), and maybe even a rear quarter window makeover....
69-70, and 71-73 Mustangs had a continuous window graphic, where 65-66, and 67-68 had louvers or separated quarter glass from the door windows, like the S197 replicated.
I kinda wonder what 69-70 sports roof, 71-73 Mustang sports roof , or 72 Torino Sportsroof quarter window shapes might look like on S550's roofline, with the quarter windows meeting the door glass as they do now.
